Hi, I’m Natasha Weller…
I am a qualified career coach with significant experience helping people move forward and prosper in their careers. Through my managerial and leadership positions, recruitment experience and of course work as a career coach, I have enjoyed supporting hundreds of people to thrive over the past decade. I am naturally curious and people-focused and gain real satisfaction from playing even a small part in the success and wellbeing of others.
I obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Career Coaching at Distinction level in 2015 and since then have undertaken several other short courses and training to further my professional development in career coaching and careers education. I am particularly experienced in and enjoy coaching early to mid-career professionals.
My background…
I started my career working in client-facing and project management roles at a financial services company before moving into management consulting, working on technology related projects primarily for the finance sector. In these roles, I often found that I got more fulfilment from the additional work I did around recruitment and staff development than my core role, which led me to change career into a role more directly impacting others.
For most of the past decade, I have worked as a career consultant and senior leader in Careers and Employability services at two top London universities, UCL and King’s College London. From 2016, I led the team of career consultants at King’s College London to design and deliver careers education and coaching to the diverse student population and was part of the senior leadership team developing strategies and steering the direction of the Careers & Employability service. However, I came to recognise that this leadership position was not enabling me to be fully fulfilled at work; I sought the support of a career coach and with her support realised my long-suppressed dream of setting up my own career coaching practice. And so FutureProsper was founded!
